We see the flow of aqueous fluid from the ciliary body through the iris to the
trabecular meshwork. In Glaucoma, there is impeded outflow, resulting in a buildup
of intraocular pressure. The drug targets the ciliary body to decrease production
of the aqueous fluid, thereby reducing intraocular pressure. The hero (shining
yellow drop) is derived from an element of the Betimol logo. This is one of
a series of animations created for the Santen tradeshow booth.
